- Serving food and drinks
- Preparation and decoration of rooms and tables
- Advising guests, organizing events including menu composition, wine accompaniment, arrangement and billing
- Conducting sales and advisory discussions with guests

- Stock management

As colorful as our apprenticeships at JUFA Hotels are, so diverse and varied are the opportunities that are open to our young talents after completing their apprenticeship. From reception to hotel management and on to regional management or from kitchen assistant to kitchen manager: there are many different paths to a successful career at JUFA Hotels!
Once a year, our apprentices and trainees are invited to the “Next Generation” apprentice camp. Over three days, they receive valuable information and training about their future positions. Fun and teamwork are of course a must.

In Austria, the salary depends on the year of apprenticeship:
From the 1st year of apprenticeship you will earn € 1,100.00, from the 2nd year € 1,245.00, from the 3rd year € 1,470.00 and from the 4th year € 1,570.00 (prerequisite: positive completion of vocational school each year)
In Germany, you will receive 20% more pay than is customary in the hotel industry (prerequisite: successful completion of vocational school each year).
The opportunities vary depending on the location. In principle, you can learn the professions of hotel and catering assistant, restaurant specialist, cook and hotel clerk at hotels in Austria and hotel specialist and cook in Germany.
