JUFA Hotels and the Red Noses Clowndoctors – they simply belong together. The collaboration began at the end of the 1990s and is characterized by great cooperation. Many great charity campaigns, diverse events and, last but not least, the annual school collection, where the class with the greatest collection success wins a JUFA vacation – we take every opportunity to support the great work of the Red Noses.

So don’t be surprised if you come across a clown in one of our hotels – after all, they need a vacation too.

Children are particularly close to our hearts, especially when their health requires special attention. The Herzkinder association is a contact point for all non-medical concerns and issues for children, young people and their families with heart disease. Those affected can find advice and encouragement here, as well as financial support, of course. Because there also needs to be room for fun and relaxing vacations outside of the illness, we have created the summer holiday weeks together with the Herzkinder.

The affected children and their families have the opportunity – with the best medical care – to experience carefree days away from the difficult everyday life of the disease.

The Styrian Association for People with Disabilities (STVMB) is particularly committed to helping people who are unfortunately often marginalized in our society due to a disability. The STVMB’s annual painting competition encourages school classes to explore the various facets of the topic of integration.

The pictures selected by a jury are rewarded with great prizes for the whole class, and the winning class can look forward to a vacation at JUFA Hotels!

The feeling of being needed and doing something meaningful – this is the idea behind our cooperation with Lebenshilfe in Styria and other regions. The clients of Lebenshilfe are an important support in our daily work.

In many of our hotels, they take care of the outdoor areas, maintenance work and painting. They also support the JUFA teams with housekeeping and office work.

We have enjoyed a partnership of equals with Styria’s largest integration company, Team Styria, for many years. Because anyone who sits down on a chair in our JUFA Hotels or snuggles up in one of the cozy beds will experience the carpentry skills of Team Styria up close.

Together with Rettet das Kind Salzburg, we at JUFA Hotel Salzburg City have set ourselves the goal of training young people with disabilities for the future world of work.

Inclusion is a central and indispensable concept for JUFA Hotels and is not only practiced in Salzburg, but also at other locations.
