Leisure cycling in the Weinviertel

From sports enthusiasts to leisure cyclists – everyone gets their money’s worth in the Weinviertel: there are many ways to explore Austria’s largest wine-growing region north-east of the capital Vienna by bike. The motto of the JUFA Hotel in the Weinviertel is “Enjoyable serenity” and it is therefore not surprising that pleasure cyclists are very welcome here. Numerous circular routes – of varying lengths – lead through the gently undulating landscape without any steep climbs and enchant with fantastic views: Vineyards, fields and picturesque cellar lanes form the backdrop for your cycling excursion. Our tip: explore one of our wine cycle routes, which are between 35 and 75 km long, for example the Veltliner Cycle Tour or the Weinviertel DAC Cycle Tour. E-bikes are also available for those who prefer a more leisurely ride. An additional electric drive supports the human pedal power and thus makes cycling easier – more enjoyment, less effort is the motto.
