Here are a few insider tips for hikes in the mountains between Innsbruck and the Brenner Pass – an area with 500 km of marked trails where you can still enjoy peace along the way. From leisurely hikers to more adventurous ones, from circular paths for families to high-altitude tours – there’s something here for everyone! For climbing enthusiasts, the “Stafflacher Wand” via ferrata offers pure adventure and adrenaline. On this route with difficulty level C, you climb along an impressive rock wall up to the summit cross. For beginners, the “St. Magdalena” via ferrata in Gschnitz is perfect. Experienced climbers can also explore several climbing gardens in the natural side valleys of the Wipptal.
