Malbun in summer

In summer, Malbun transforms into a hiker’s paradise. The Gänglesee lake, the Fürstin Gina trail or the via ferrata on the Augustenberg provide breathtaking views and challenging tours. On these tours, you can also observe the local flora and fauna, which is protected by the Rätikon biosphere reserve. Malbun is also the venue for numerous cultural events that preserve traditional customs. One example of this is the Alpabzug festival, during which the decorated cows are driven back into the valley from the summer pastures in the fall.
